Pallet delivery in Calgary: starting rates
Pallet rates
- First pallet: starting from $70 for the first standard 48 x 40 in pallet space.
- Extra pallets to the same stop: $15 each.
- Tailgate: $10 for 1 or 2 pallets, $35 for 3 or more.
- Nearby towns: $15 more per delivery to Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks or Chestermere.
- Billed by space: a pallet that takes up two spaces is billed as two.
What the rate covers
Every rate is before a 30% fuel surcharge on the full subtotal, and before GST. A worked example: three pallets to one Calgary stop, with the tailgate, comes to $175.50 plus GST.
Waiting time is $60 an hour after the first 15 minutes at each stop, prorated at $1 a minute, a return visit when nobody's there to receive is $20 within the delivery zone, and weekend deliveries are 25% more when agreed at booking. No dock needed
Tailgate delivery
Plenty of delivery points have no loading dock: job sites, shops, small warehouses. Our tailgate delivery lowers freight from the truck to the ground:
Freight limit:
2,500 lb per lift.
Platform rating:
3,000 lb, including the operator and handling equipment.
Electric pallet jack:
rated to 3,000 lb, for moving pallets on and off the truck.

Dedicated trucks and drivers
When you have a day's work, book a dedicated truck and driver by the hour: starting from $100 an hour, with a 6-hour minimum, before the fuel surcharge and GST. Some of our business customers book dedicated drivers by the hour; others pay per pallet.
As a guide, a full truck from one warehouse is usually about 12 deliveries in about six hours. Ten to twenty stops makes a full eight- to ten-hour day.
Temperature-controlled freight
We send as many dry box trucks as the job needs, and our temperature-controlled truck is available subject to scheduling. It carries frozen freight and, in winter, keeps a load warm. Its GPS temperature logging gives you a trip report with the recorded temperatures and times, and the truck's location if you need it. Tell us about your load before you book: we confirm the temperature, dimensions and weight at booking. We also carry healthcare supplies, for people and animals, to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, veterinary clinics and warehouses.

Shared run
Pallet delivery from Calgary to Edmonton
Our shared pallet run to Edmonton carries pallets from several customers on one truck, which keeps the cost down when you're sending one or a few pallets:
- Starting from $150 per pallet space, on available shared runs.
- Typically weekly. Booking is required.
- Before the 30% fuel surcharge and GST. An example: one pallet space to Edmonton comes to $195 plus GST.
